Patient Frequently
Asked Questions

Why do I need to sign up for myPrescryptive?
myPrescryptive gives you full control over your Rx experience. Shop for medications, control where they’re filled, save up to 80%, and sign up for pharmacy services like tests and vaccinations. All you need is your mobile phone.

myPrescryptive works with your smartphone to provide you with prescription information and pricing. You get a “digital prescription” on your phone as soon as your provider sends it to “Prescryptive” then you can send it to the pharmacy of your choice. You also can make appointments for services such as testing, vaccines, treatments and more.

Note: use of myPrescryptive is optional for prescription customers but it is required for vaccinations and other health services.

How do I get myPrescryptive?
It’s easy. Simply go to myPrescryptive.com on your mobile phone; there you can register for free.

Why do I need to use a smartphone when I sign up for myPrescryptive?
A myPrescryptive account is unique to each user and uses your mobile phone number. We keep your data secure through authentication on your phone.

Does Prescryptive Pharmacy accept controlled substances?
Yes, we do.  Your prescriber will need to send controlled prescriptions directly to our pharmacy at “PHX Pharmacy” in the prescriber’s computer system.  Controlled substances are not yet able to process through our myPrescryptive phone platform.

Do you offer a cash discount plan?
Yes, when you sign up for myPrescryptive on your phone, you also receive a cash discount plan which can save you money on your prescription drugs. You can search any drug to see discounted pricing at our pharmacy or other pharmacies in our area.

What are terms of use of the discount plan?

Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurances including: United Healthcare (OptumRx), Aetna (some), Change Healthcare, DST (Argus), MedImpact, Prescryptive, Prime Therapeutics, Select Health, Express Scripts, Regence BCBS, and Cigna. In progress: CVS Caremark, Pacific Source, and Oregon Health Plan. We do not accept Humana or Tricare.  We can bill Medicare Part B for vaccines.

What Covid tests do you offer at the Prescryptive pharmacy?
We offer both the Covid-19 rapid PCR molecular test and rapid antigen test. You can schedule a convenient appointment right on your mobile phone at myPrescryptive.com, or by using the convenient links provided above. Services are available Monday through Friday. 9:15am-4:30pm.

What are the main differences between the two Covid tests?
The Covid rapid PCR molecular is more accurate than home tests and detects Covid infection earlier. You can get your results within 45 minutes.

The Covid rapid antigen test is like a home test, but we do it for you here at Prescryptive Pharmacy and you get the benefit of professional processing along with documented results that are sent directly to your mobile phone within 30 minutes.

Does Prescryptive Pharmacy offer Covid vaccines?
Yes. We offer Moderna vaccines for free.  We offer the new bivalent booster for ages 6 to adult.  Note: there is a new COVID vaccine coming in the Fall of 2023.  We recommend people of all ages wait for that vaccine.

Does Prescryptive Pharmacy offer Covid treatments?
Yes, our pharmacy offers Paxlovid to treat Covid. PAXLOVID is used to treat mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in adults with positive results of direct SARS-CoV-2 viral testing, and who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death. There is limited information about the safety and effectiveness of using PAXLOVID to treat people with mild-to-moderate COVID-19.*

Then our pharmacists can check your eligibility to receive Paxlovid. Once eligibility is determined, you can get your treatment right at the counter. Please note, if you currently have tested positive for Covid, please call us first at 541-526-3565.
